Since its establishment in 2021, Shanghai Nilun Chemical has rapidly developed into a technology driven enterprise and important supplier in the domestic TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) particle market, especially in the high-end car wrap film field. Since 2019, the Shanghai Nilun Chemical team has been deeply involved in the complete industry chain from upstream particles to downstream automotive coating raw films. With its core technology in special TPU, especially TPU particles for automotive coating films, rapidly growing production capacity, and breakthroughs in certification and scientific research in key areas, it is gradually changing the situation of the domestic high-end TPU market dominated by foreign manufacturers. The STAR brand factory, Tongyi Aerospace, was completed in 2008. In 2019, it invested in the establishment of a civil aviation research and development center, focusing on the research and development of TPU products and composite materials in the civil aviation field. It has 33 invention patents, 117 utility model patents, and 5 appearance patents. Its main research and development directions include military polyurethane film products, civil aviation films, and invisible vehicle clothing. In 2022, we achieved a full industry chain layout from TPU particles to TPU protective films, equipped with high-precision continuous stable extrusion molding technology and multi-layer composite polyurethane protective film stabilization molding and interface control technology, serving high-end markets such as aliphatic paint protection films, medical consumables, wires and cables, and becoming a first tier military supplier.

At present, we have three production lines for 1.9m wide extruded polyurethane film, one 2.2m three-layer co extruded polyurethane film production line, a 5000 square meter cleanroom, and a designed annual production capacity of 10 million meters.
